Strava: Run, Bike, Hike experienced a gradual decline in downloads from 103K in late September to 59K in late December. However, the app saw an uptick in the last week of December, reaching 83K downloads. Weekly active users peaked at 1.6M in the last week of December, despite a mid-quarter dip.
Freeletics: Workouts & Fitness also saw fluctuations in downloads, with an initial increase to 35K in mid-October, then a drop to 12K in early December, before soaring to 53K by the year's end. The app's weekly active users mirrored this volatility, dropping to 169K in mid-December and then surging to 248K in the final week of 2020.
